Rising Voices Season 4
Talent is universal. Opportunity is not.
Rising Voices started as a simple idea: Take 10 BIPOC directors, give them $100,000 and ask them to make a short film about the future of work. This initiative is skills-first: Applications are not evaluated based on education, background or referrals. All that matters is the script and your directorial chops.
Throughout Season 4, our films were written about in Forbes, Rolling Stone, Deadline, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and many more. Over the course of 4+ years, Rising Voices has created over 2,500 jobs and garnered over 200 festival selections and awards. Rising Voices alumni have gone on to direct features, short films and music videos, including Chappell Roan's top hit single, "Hot To Go!β
