FutureWorks

Oh, you know. Just the biggest event of the whole dang year

Over five hundred industry leaders. Keynote speech by the CEO of the company. Viola Davis. No biggie. The FutureWorks creative team developed elegant and impactful ways to visually and physically represent the theme of building a better future of work, while creating a VIP experience for guests and speakers. Activations included the Work Wellbeing Cafe, a sculpture representing the rewards of hiring previously incarcerated people, a mirror-room installation highlighting the costs of skills gaps, and a newsstand featuring swag that in-person guests could earn through participation. The conference floor was intimidatingly huge, a problem the team solved in part by smart spacing of activation sites and clear wayfinding signage to better direct attendees through the space. Importantly, the themes of fairness, inclusion, and accessibility seemed to resonate strongly with the audience of highly influential people who have the ability to put those principles into action.
