Celebrating how LGBTQIA+ folks show up to work

In an atmosphere of increasing hostility toward LGBTQIA+ people, companies are under pressure to make decisions about how and if to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community. (Some of those decisions have been bad!) Indeed has not wavered. For this year’s Pride month, the creative team took inspiration from the extremely popular “Get ready with me” videos on Tiktok, giving LGBTQIA+ folks a platform to share how they show up as themselves at work. Working on a tight timeline, the team found people with diverse styles, genders, orientations, and homes. The videos were shared on Instagram and Tiktok, with each star showing off how they prepare, dress, and decorate for work. (You have not lived until you’ve experienced trans femme mariachi.) At Indeed, we aim to help all LGBTQIA+ find work that takes pride in them.
